So, I got ahead of myself on this one! I was so excited to blog Rebecca and Ken’s wedding, that I totally skipped over their engagement session. But don’t fret, their magical session is here! I met Rebecca and Ken for their engagement session at Evergreen Lake House in Evergreen, CO. Rebecca is a photographer herself and it’s always a little nerve wracking working with a fellow creative. You want to go above and beyond! It’s a lot of pressure, but it’s always good for me because it pushes my creativity.
It was cold the day of their session and we debated rescheduling, but I am so glad we decided to push forward. We had a lovely session exploring the near by hiking trails, walking along Bear Creek, and sitting next to Evergreen Lake. It was iced over and the colors around us were muted with the feel of winter… even though it was April!
Especially if we have amazing light and a gorgeous sunset! That was exactly the case for Rebecca and Ken’s engagement session at Evergreen Lake House. We stayed at the park until it was nearly dark and I drove home with a big ass smile on my face! Sessions like this fill my heart and soul. They keep me going. They motivate me to keep going in an industry that can be so difficult. Scroll down to check out just a few of my faves from this session. Thanks for stopping by!
With love,
Soleil
