I.LOVE.THIS.SESSION.

Christina and Brian live in Fort Collins, and since I love that city, we decided to meet for their engagement session at Horsetooth Reservoir. Both avid mountain bikers, this active couple brought their mountain bikes to start the session. We captured some unique photos that are totally THEM! (I also tripped and fell on my face during this part of their session, but we’ll go ahead and forget that!). After some fun with the bikes and a quick clothing swap, we ran through the fields, climbed on an old corral, and enjoyed the warm summer golden glow. As the sun began to set, we ventured down the road to the reservoir. Even though there were a TON of people there, Christina and Brian laughed and danced like no one was watching! And then Mother Nature did it again…

And gave us the most epic sunset ever!

The sky held onto the orange of the sun and the blue of the sky and they collided together in a brilliant collage over the reservoir. I captured some of my favorite images ever while the sunset continued to envelope us in it’s magnificence. After two amazing hours with Christina and Brian, their session ended with what seems to be the cover of a romance novel!

I had so much getting to know these two awesome human beings and I am so excited for their July wedding in Carbondale! In the meantime, check out their epic engagement session at Horsetooth Reservoir.
