People often ask me when the best time is to photograph. The truth is, I can photograph you at any time of the day – morning, noon or night. But my FAVORITE time to shoot is during “golden hour”. If you’ve never heard of this term, it means the hour to hour and a half before sunsets. When the light of the sun is glowing golden! It can make for some of the most beautiful photograph. Warm light and dramatic vibrant colors make couples pop! Beth and Tim chose and evening engagement session so that they could bask in the beauty of the setting sun.
We explored a local green belt, taking in the natural area that makes you forget you’re so close to the city. The prettiest dainty clouds watched over us and made for a light fluffy backdrop to the pale blue sky. We may have been the last people at the park as we took advantage of the many different elements this particular park has to offer. It was dark and chilly when we got into our cars, but so worth the effort!
When I arrived at Beth and Tim’s wedding day (only a few short weeks later!), they had photos from their engagement session framed and hung up all around the reception venue. I was tickled that they had loved the photos as much as me and what a lovely way to share them with all of your friends and family! So now YOU get to enjoy them as well 🙂 Take a peek at some of my faves from their evening engagement session! And keep your eyes peeled for thier wedding blog which is coming up soon!
With love,
Soleil
