This gorgeous Grand Lake venue has it all! Views to die for, beautiful streams, an amazing barn, horses, goats, and A BABY MINI HORSE!!! It was the perfect venue for Edric and Lucy to say “I Do” surrounded by their family and friends.
The day was a gorgeous one. Bright blue skies and big puffy clouds – my favorite photo conditions! While the guys prepped, Edric and his groomsmen enjoyed a special beer handcrafted by the groom himself. Lucy had a quite morning hanging out with her best gal pals and sharing some alone time with her mom as she got into her wedding gown. The couple shared a sweet first look before we explored the grounds and took gorgeous portraits. The beautifully backdropped ceremony was capped by Edric and Lucy taking a joy ride around the venue in the father of the groom’s old FJ.
Since we took most of the photo before the ceremony, the couple got to mingle during cocktail hour and enjoy everything this grand lake wedding venue had to offer. As the reception began, a storm rolled into the rockies and pelted us with hard rain and wind. But that didn’t keep the guests from having a good time in the warm and charming barn. Once the storm passed, nature gifted Edric and Lucy with the most gorgeous double rainbow! The night kept going with first dances and cutting the cake which Lucy’d mom made.
