Spring Engagement Session at Stanley Lake

I met Chase and Richard at a wedding showcase hosted by The Butterfly Pavilion (https://butterflies.org/visit/party-event-rental/special-events/). They were in the final stages of planning their event to be held in the butterfly room later that year. They entered my engagement session contest and won! A few weeks later we had their spring engagement session at Stanley Lake. From moment number one with these two – they were open, warm, and we became quick friends! We explored a bit around the lake and strolled in the greening fields before heading back to their home for pictures with their five dogs. (And if you know how much I love dogs, you know how very excited I was for this part!)

It took some time

to tame the herd, but once they got used to being photographed – the fun ensued! We took the best family portrait ever and made some great photos for Chase and Richard’s save the dates. I ended up being booked for their wedding day, so I didn’t get to take their wedding photographs 🙁 But I am so glad that I met them and made new friends (human and furry!).
