You know what’s especially fun about a winter engagement session? THE SNOW OF COURSE! I flipping love photographing couples in the snow! It adds an extra element – not only in the contrast with the greenery and blue skies, but it gives you something to interact with. Snow is magical in that way 🙂 Laura and Paul were totally open for a snowy engagement session and this one ends in a snowball fight! (I mean, how else do you end a wintery session?!).
Laura and Paul flew in to Denver for their session and we met at (you called it) my favorite, Mount Falcon Park. During any session, I want to allow a couple to let their personality to come through. Since Laura, Paul and I had only ever FaceTimed before their session, I wanted to be sure to get to know them during our time together. I like to start out a session with some quite moments and ease into more fun and candid interactions as everyone begins to warm up. This allows me to see if a couple is more comfortable in the quiet reflective moments or by being silly together.
Laura and Paul are a couple who like laughing together and the photos show it! Since I knew they liked to have fun, I asked if they wanted to have a snowball fight to end the session. And they were all for it! It was such a fun way to end another great engagement session with another amazing couple.
Enjoy some of my favorite moments from Laura and Pauls snowy engagement session. ( PS: The light in these photos is AMAZING – everything is glistening and glowing!). When you’re done peeping these, go check out their awesome wedding:Â Boulder, CO Wedding!
With love,
Soleil
