Classy wedding in Downtown Denver.

When Rebecca and I spoke in the phone we had a hyper conversation about how much we both love photography. She is also a photographer, so when she hired me to capture her glamorous Denver wedding at the University Club, I was ecstatic! Before every wedding, the couple and I sit down for an in-depth meeting to go over the timeline and a family photo list. We had originally planned to do all of the bridal party photos at city park before the ceremony, but Colorado had different plans. Luckily, University Club is beautiful inside, so we had plenty of options for gorgeous photos!

The ceremony took place the in College Room. It’s a classic dark wood room full of warmth and character. The windows are all stained glass, and on this cloudy day let in little light. I setup a light at the front of the ceremony to add some dramatic effect to the already moody room. After a ceremony lead by Ken’s dad, the rain stopped and we headed outside for bridal party and couple photos. I love photographing in Downtown, it’s so different than a mountain wedding. The urban textures and surroundings are an awesome contrast to a fab dress and great suit! After capturing some quintessential Denver wedding photos, it was back inside for heavy appetizers and dancing.

I loved photographing in the classic University Club, it really accentuated this glamorous Denver wedding. The night ended with a perfect sparkler exit!
