Lina and Ryan tied the knot at the Holy Ghost Church in Denver. I don’t photograph many indoor ceremonies, given Colorado’s eye-dropping backdrop, but I love a good ceremony in a beautiful piece of architecture! Also, Catholic ceremonies tend to be about an hour-long, so I have plenty of time to explore and create! The Holy Ghost Church in Denver is a gorgeous church and I absolutely loved photographing in it 🙂
After the ceremony, we took the couple and their entire bridal party to spend some time in Downtown Denver exploring the nearby columned courthouse and then we headed to Denver City Park. We really did manage to capture the best that Denver has to offer!
When we arrived, Lina and Ryan’s guests packed the dining room at The Wellshire Inn. Traditional Lithuanian songs were shouted by cheerful attendees as the bridal party entered the room. Toasts filled with laughter and love preceded and magnificent meal.
Lina’s father teaching traditional Lithuanian dance, so before the dancing got started Lina, Ryan, and their entire bridal party performed a traditional Lithuanian wedding dance. It was such a fun way to bring Lina’s culture into their wedding day! It also made all the guests ready to P-A-R-T-Y!
Lina and Ryan’s wedding day went by SO FAST and before I knew it we were outside taking their final wedding portraits.
I don’t specialize in elopements, or mountain weddings, or church weddings. I do it all. Because no matter where you’re getting married, I want to be there with you! Planning a Catholic wedding? Let’s connect to chat about your wedding day!
