Jessica and Jake had a gorgeous Planet Bluegrass wedding in Lyons, CO. After living together on the East Coast for nearly a decade, they decided to pack up and drive across the country to live out their Colorado dreams in Jessica’s hometown. And what better way to show their East Coast family and friends WHY they wanted to be Colorado then have their wedding at a venue that really showcases what Colorado is all about?!

Chiseled out by the North Saint Vrain Creek, this unique wedding venue boasts steep cut cliffs with wide-open spaces surrounded by red foothills. The Saint Vrain Creek is a popular kayaking waterway, so it’s common to see some Colorado adventures enjoying their day as they float by the wedding venue. For out of town guests, Planet Bluegrass is also close to popular tourist sites like Estes Park, The Stanley Hotel and Rocky Mountain National Park.

Jessica and Jake had a sweet ceremony under the Chuppah, followed by a super fun party including the Hora dance, a live band, Sweet Cow Ice Cream, and Jake himself even got up on stage to perform with his band. The night ended with a bubble exit and everyone loading on party buses to continue to the next party location.
