Amy and Dan are high school sweethearts who had their wedding at Sunrise Amphitheater Wedding. Together for 16 years before tying the knot (16 years, people!). These two moved to Colorado together, followed their favorite band, Phish, on tour and now are making their life together permanent.
Amy and Dan got ready at the St. Julien Hotel and Spa in Boulder, CO. They had their first look in the perfect little secluded spot on the hotel grounds before we hopped on the party bus to head up the canyon.
Sunrise Amphitheater is one of my favorite places to have an outdoor ceremony in Colorado. Not only does it boast incredible views of Boulder, but it’s also just really cool! With natural rock seating, it’s almost like a theater in the round. It’s great for large or small weddings and because the surroundings are so Colorado, you barely need any decoration.
After an emotional ceremony filled with tears and laughter, we were ready to party! We headed back to the St. Julien Hotel and Spa to dance the night away to some funky grooves. It was also Amy’s dad’s birthday, so they had a special cake and birthday song just for him. It was a touching moment at the end of an amazing day.
